Are pets allowed?
To preserve and respect our historic and sacred property, pets are not allowed. Those with disabilities may be accompanied by their service animal. Be considerate of Holy Mass when on grounds and the buildings additionally. Signage is posted on the campus that pets are not allowed.
Can I get married at the Shrine?
The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche is not a parish and is not the primary point of contact for any sacraments including the sacrament of marriage. All arrangements must be made through the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. See https://thefirstparish.org/. The staff at the Cathedral will coordinate with our staff to see if we can accommodate your special day.
Do you allow professional photography?
We are private property owned by the Diocese of St. Augustine; therefore, we do not allow professional photography without prior permission. Please review our photo policy for more details. Are bikes, scooters, and skateboards allowed?
To keep everyone safe while walking the sacred grounds, these methods of transportation are not allowed on our grounds. We have bike racks available for your convenience if you travel to us by bicycle. If you do not adhere to the safely rules a security or maintenance person will kindly ask you to refrain from the activity or leave the premises.
What parking is available?
• Parking is available for guest on pilgrimage and the gates are open from dawn to dusk.
• Parking is free for the first hour. Parking is also free when there is a scheduled confession, mass, or exposition, held at any time of the day.
• Other than those times, there is a parking fee after the free first hour. That fee can be paid through the Passport Parking App which is on Apply and Android phones. We do not have a cash system for parking.
