Frequently Asked Questions
Are pets allowed?
In order to preserve and respect our historic and sacred property, pets are not allowed. Those with disabilities may be accompanied by their service animal.
Can I get married at the Shrine?
While we strongly encourage you to get married at your local parish, we do allow Catholic weddings celebrated by a Catholic priest at the Rustic Altar ONLY. Because we are a shrine and not a parish, all arrangements must be made through the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine.
Do you allow professional photography?
We are private property owned by the Diocese of St. Augustine, therefore, we do not allow professional photography without prior permission. Please review our photo policy for more details.
Are bikes, scooters, and skateboards allowed?
In an effort to keep everyone safe while walking the sacred grounds, these methods of transportation are not allowed on our grounds. We have bike racks available for your convenience if you travel to us by bicycle.
What parking is available?
Parking is available for those while visiting the Shrine. Our property is gated and the gates will close promptly at 5pm, Monday through Saturday and at 4pm Sunday.
Do you have milk powder?
Please check our gift shop for availability.
