Annual Blessing of the Animals

Bring your beloved pets to the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche for the Annual Blessing of the Animals. In the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, we invite you to join us in this joyful celebration of God’s creation, where your pets can receive a special blessing. All types of animals are welcome as we honor the connection between nature, animals, and spirituality in this cherished tradition.

The event will take place at the main entrance to the Shrine campus, and all are welcome to participate. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to gather with fellow pet owners in a peaceful, community-centered environment.

This is a family-friendly event to enjoy this beautiful day celebrating all of God’s creatures! To maintain the sanctity of the Sacred Acre, all animals need to remain at the front entrance and parking lot only.
